  • Your API keys are stored only in your browser's local storage
  • API requests are sent directly from your device to Google servers (if using Gemini API)
  • We do not collect, transmit, or store your API keys or model configurations
  • You can delete or change your API keys and model settings at any time

Browser Permissions

This extension requires the following permissions to function:

  • storage: Saves your settings, API keys, and language preferences locally
  • sidePanel: Displays results in the browser's sidepanel
  • activeTab: Reads selected text for processing
  • contextMenus: Adds quick actions to the context menu

These permissions are used only for core features and never for data collection or tracking.

Data Retention & Rights

Data Retention:

  • All data (settings, API keys) is stored only in your browser's local storage
  • Processed text content is cleared from memory immediately after processing
  • All local data is automatically deleted when the extension is uninstalled

Your Rights:

  • View, modify, or delete your configuration in settings at any time
  • Switch between inference engines anytime
  • Uninstall the extension to completely clear all data

If you opt for Online API mode, text is transmitted to your selected provider.
